Cruis'n USA

Review by RockyStarPro

"A Fun Game At First But Gets Boring"

Welcome to my review for the game Cruis'n Usa for the Nintendo 64. This game is about racing around the United States of America in many states such as Chicago, Washington DC and more. You pick from many cars and many levels but this game has one of the best difficulties on the N64 but the bad thing is that when you are in front, you run away from your opponents and it gets easy. You will think your opponents are not hard it's just the obstacles that make it hard. Some of the levels in this game are secret and you must press and hold a number of buttons to pick them but you do play them in adventure mode but just if you feel like playing a certain secret level then you have to press the buttons.

The graphics in this game are simply awesome because they stand out and are realistic. The graphics of the cars are no exception and the graphics for the background of levels is cool because looks like it doesn't end but there is a wall that doesn't let you go past the boundaries of the levels. So at the end for the graphics it is the best part of the game because it has good color use, background stands out and it is realistic, the cars stand out and the background for the main menu stands out with the black background.

The worst part of the game play is that it is too short and doesn't provide that much of a difficulty and even a beginner could clock this game in 2 hours. The good part of the game play is that it is free flowing and does not go too fast which makes you press the accelerator button in a hurry and that is a good part of the game play. So at the end for the game play it is bad because it is too short and doesn't provide a challenge at all even a beginner could breeze this game on his\her first try but the good part of it is that it is free flowing which allows you heaps of time to press the buttons and it is not fast so beginners can learn to play this game and it doesn't make it look like it is in a hurry and that is a good part of the game play.

The audio in this game is awesome allowing you to pick any songs during a race and they have good ones for example the Blue Grass Boogie and more. The audio play in every level and it has catchy tunes which make it have some action.

Rent or Buy:
I recommend to rent this game first because it can get boring but once you clock it 10 times then it will start getting boring so don't buy it just rent it because the game play lets it down and it doesn't have a good fun factor.

Overall Cruis'n Usa for the Nintendo 64 is a bad game in some ways but also a fun game in some ways because of the stand out graphics and the catchy tunes. If you are an beginner and have never played this game I'll tell you it will be very fun and awesome but when you clock it 10 times it will get very boring and you will barely play it. So at the end Cruis'n Usa for the Nintendo 64 is a game beginners would like but professionals would start to get bored of it and barely play it and thank you for reading my review.
