WinBack: Covert Operations
Review by C McLean
"This is one of the best games on the 64"
This game deserves to be the best game on the N64 and here is why.
GAMEPLAY
Well this game has a great storyline and you can't put that controller down it's that good. The Story is a great mode but not the best in the game. The best mode in this game is the multiplayer mode because it is just like goldeneye's multiplayer but better. It's just so fun.
GRAPHICS
The Graphics are great like when you hide behind a wall or a box. They make the eneimies stand out very well. The creators have used the c buttons very well in the game. The guns are well designed. And the characters are great and easy to tell a good guy form a bad guy.
CONTROLS
The controls in this game are easy the roll is easy to do, The C down targets enemys well. The R button is a good way to aim but it can get difficult holding two buttons at the same time. the a button as an action button is great and easy to use. pressing a while against a wall or a box to put or back up against it is great. The b button is easy to use to reload the gun.
BUY OR RENT
I suggest you buy the game because the missons are really long and hard. But the multiplayer is just the best so I suggest you get it for that reason. But if you think I'm not saying the truth. Go rent and see how good it is.
OVERALL
Overall almost all 64 owners should have this game in their collection. It is that good. I normally don't give out 10/10 often but this game is just one of those games. You start of turning on your 64 and you start it up you think it's going to be one of those not so good games but this one is the best game I've played this year appart from DK64 and Perfect Dark. So This game is diffently up there with the goldeneyes, Perfect Dark, Banjo Tooie, DK64, Jet force Gemini and Pokemon stadium.
