"A game as addictive as nicotine/Buy it buy it but it!!!"

Bust-A-Move 2
~~*~~*~~*~~*~~

Well, I was doomed the minute my sister brought it home from Blockbuster. It's a monster, and once you start playing, it will take someone to physically move you away from the T.V. and force you to sleep when it's 4:00 am.

The monster is Bust-A-Move 2, and the victim could be you. But to be honest, you probably want to be it's victim. This game is genious, and let my explain it further.

~Gameplay~ 10!!!!

This game thrives on it's gameplay! It's all a puzzle game could be, and then some! I, personally, have never been too thrilled with puzzle games, but this, well, it's an exception. Following in the vain of Dr. Mario and Tetris, this game in my opinion is better than both put together.

The idea of the game is simple: It's a lot like Dr. Mario, except you're shooting bubbles up to the top of the screen, connecting at least three of the same color to pop them. Your goal is to clear them all to proceed to the next level, or if it's 2 player, you are trying to at least stay alive until your apponant meets their demise.

~Story~ 3

Um, well, there really isn't a story, but do we even care? As far as I'm concerned, puzzle games like this don't need a storyline. But in this game, I think that the little dinosaurs (Bub and Bob) are trying to save their planet and get all the pieces of the rainbow, or something like the same. But that's not important, so we can move on. Next...

~Audio/Video~ 8

This game is made even more fun by it's array of interesting, detailed backgrounds. Though it doesn't matter much to the gameplay, it's kind of pleasant. Everything else is quite nice, too. The characters are just adorable (if you like that sort of thing) and the graphics are great. The music is somewhat repetitive, and on the one player mode, it can drive you insane. But on the time challenge, it has a variety of different toons (which are quite well done and catchy) and you won't pull your hair out from insanity because of them.

~Replayability~ 10

Uh, duh. This game is great to play any time, again and again. It's fun and addictive, so it won't leave you dissapointed in the replayability catagory.

~Buy Or Rent~

BUY BUY BUY!!! Um, did I mention buy? In any form, for any console, you must own at least one title from the 'Bust-A-move' series. This version is very nice, but I'm sure that the gameplay is about the same in any of the games. So if you already own it, I guess you really don't need this, but it's so nice and neat, so...it's your call. Well, that sums it up! Gotta go--there's a game of Bust-A-Move 2 with my name on it just waiting to be played...
