Duck Dodgers Starring Daffy Duck
Review by Dave 008 Bond
"Great game for all ages"
Introduction
As I started playing it I was amazed how good this game was. I thought this game would stink, but I was surprised. The game was fun and long,(So long I havent finished it yet.)
Graphics 7/10
Average graphics. They look fine exept sometimes you see through walls and the graphics tend to glitch up.
Story 8/10
Marvin Martian wants to destroy the Earth, but he needs Energy Atoms to do it. Your mission, as Daffey Duck is to collect these Atoms before Marvin does. The story takes several intersting twists and turns. This game has a great story. Well, on to Sound.
Sound 8/10
The music and sound effects are really good. The music is average but the sound is quite good. Every thing is in the game from Daffy and Porkys voice to the ''boing'' sound of Daffys jumps. The voices are very clear. The sound is above average. On to gameplay.
Gameplay 7/10
Pretty average. You usually have to deafeat the boss of the planet and along the way you have to get Energy Atoms to acess restricted areas. The planets themselfs are very big and allow you to explore. Sometimes the Atoms are hid poorly, making it too easy to find them.
Controls 8/10
Very identicle to the Gex games, exept they are more responsive than most games. When you jump you stomp down with both legs instead of the Canonball that has been done countless times, which I thought
was an interesting idea.
Replay Value 4/10
This tends to be a problem with adventure games. Once you beat you probably will get bored and start playing another game.
Challenge 7/10
Not too easy and not too hard.although this game is leaning closer to easy. Perfect for younger gamers.
Buy or Rent?
Rent. This is somewhat easy, so this is a great rental.
Overall 8/10
Great game. This is a must rent for all ages.
