Review by GrimWolf

"Good for a little bit, but not worth buying."

Over the years, there has been many Rainbow Six games ranging from many systems, including PC, PSX, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy Color. The game is very realistic, and the slightest misstep can cause your whole team to meet a horrible fate. It requires careful planning of your route and certain equipment, such as your clothing, your guns, and your items, such as flashbangs, frag grenades, lockpick kits, etc. Basically you play as members of a SWAT team, and your mission is most often to kill the terrorists or rescue the hostages. There are several options, such as blood on or off, map on or off, etc. It's your job to foil terrorist operations and overall save the world from the threat.

Graphics: 9
The graphics in this game are pretty good, in fact, they're really good, but the problem is with the old arms-through-the-walls bit. Other than that, there's no problem with the graphics. The levels are beautifully designed and the lighting gives it just the right effect.

Play Control: 9
Not that it's even that hard to control, but I gave it a 9 because the aiming is kind of hard to do, but there might be an option to change the aiming problem. The problem is that you have to move the control stick to aim where you want to go, and you have to hold it there, and it's rather sensitive. Of course, there is auto aim, but if you have it disabled then you could have some problems.

Game Design: 9
This game elaborates on the Goldeneye/Perfect Dark experience by making it much more realistic. The enemies are ''smarter'' than they are in those other two games. The only problem is that the game is too short. I beat it in about six hours, and Goldeneye took me at least a month to beat the whole game.

Sound: 10
The music in this game is nothing short of suspenseful. It always fits the mood, whether it's exploring, the death of a cohort, or the race against time.

Satisfaction: 9
This game is pretty good, it's more realistic than any other game I've played. If only the minor graphic problems were fixed and this game had about twenty more levels, it would get a perfect ten from me.

Rent/Buy:
I don't recommend you buy this game, it won't provide the length a great gamer needs to be satisfied, just rent this one.
