Star Wars: Rogue Squadron

"Flying around, blowing things up, Star Wars...'nuff said"

Star Wars Rogue Squadron (SWRS) is one of the best flight sims out there, and the Star Wars theme further boosts this game's likeability and popularity. The assortment of ships is also a nice bonus, with the X, Y, A, and V wings, along with the snow speeder and a few other hidden ships. with one code, you can even fly a Buick Electra (those clever programmers, what don't they think of?) Any big fan of this game will remember when the super secret cheat to fly Anakin's ship from Episode 1 came out. We all waited patiently for it, and when it did, we were amazed with how cool the ship was. Anyway, on to some further details about the game...

Story: 8/10
You lead the Rogue Squadron as Luke, with some other guys helping you out. There are a good amount of missions, and as you beat more and get better medals on them, you unlock secret missions, including a Death Star Trench Run.

Graphics: 8/10
The ships look awesome (the Buick looks nice too) and the explosions are also nice.

Sounds: 8/10
The ships engines, guns, explosions, etc. are nice to hear. There's a good deal of talking in the game, too. Luke's voice wasn't done by the great Mark Hamill, but by some other scrub whose name I don't know. I'll give the scrub credit though, he does a pretty good Luke impression.

Challenge: 8/10
It's pretty tough to get all golds, so you'll be spending plenty of time on this one.

Control: 8/10
The controls are really good, but they could've been a tad better, I'm not complaining though.

Yes folks, this was the deciding factor. If it's Star Wars, it's great, and definitely deserves this bonus.
