Review by Garganchonimous

"Weirdly, I somehow own this game... yes, OWN."

I love Duck Dodgers. It's a great N64 game, and it's really fun to play. Unfortunately, it was released near the end of the N64's lifespan, and some games released at that time were only available as a Blockbuster rental. Now, I have never rented an N64 game at a Blockbuster. Nor have I rented any games at Blockbuster. But somehow, I managed to buy the game somewhere, in complete package with manual, box, and game, and I don't remember where or how I bought it. But let's begin, shall we?

Gameplay:

The gameplay is great for a Looney Tunes game. What I especially love is Quack Mode, where it turns into a first-person shooter similar to Quake. Get it? Infogrames did well with the Looney Tunes license. 10/10

Level Design:

The levels in the game look great. I also love that it's non-linear gameplay, like Grand Theft Auto. My favorite level in the game is Planet E, which bears similarity to the 1930's level in Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time. 10/10

Graphics:

The graphics in the game look great for a Nintendo 64 game. Especially the characters. The characters look pretty detailed. I think Daffy, Porky, and Marvin look the best out of all the characters in the game. 10/10

Story:

The story is pretty much Marvin the Martian has a weapon that is used to destroy the Earth, and Duck Dodgers has to collect the things that power it before the enemies do. On the way to Planet X, the ship keeps malfunctioning, and you crash on a planet, where you have to collect the energy atoms that power the "Ultimate Weapon". Pretty simple if you ask me. 9/10

Sound:

It sounds great. The voices are clear, the sound effects are wacky, and the music is fitting in some areas. 10/10

Overall:

If you happen to be one of the few people who actually owns this, play it. It's a fun game that'll keep you entertained. Now, where's my Taz Express?

Overall Score: 9/10
