Review by Dave 008 Bond

"Very, very, VERY underated."

Introduction
Ever heard of Goemon? Almost everyone you ask will say ''No.'' That is really sad, because this is such a great game that brought 3D platformers back to life! In this game you control one of four charactors. Here is a list of there names and personalities:

Goemon is the main character of the game and well rounded. He knows the very strong chain pipe attack, and can throw money at his enemies. Probably the best fighter.

Ebisamaru Is the other guy you begin the game with. He is a little umm, chubby which makes him a bad choice for traveling. He knows the very strong hammer attack, which makes up for his speed.

Yae is a secret agent and the only women in the group. She knows a quick blade attack, which is iddeal for bosses. She also has a flute which can transport you all over Japan, (the game takes place there). Iddeal for traveling.

Sasuke is the fastest characer in the game. Whether it is swiming, walking or even flying he can get you around the fastest. But his biggest flaw is the fact that his weapon cannot hit enemies easily.

There is the charactors, in there true form. Anyway, read on to the review to get all the facts.

Graphics 8/10
Nicely done. The charcters look just great, and once again I will use a list to describe them:

Goemonis your blue haired pinneapple shaped hair man. His hair is the main attraction, and with good reason.

Ebisamaura has blue hair and wears a blue sweatsuit.

Yae has green hair and wears a purple sweatsuit.

Sasuke Looks, odd. Not much else to say about the speedster of the group.

And there are plenty of extra things too, such as Yae's hair blowing in the wind and the look on Goemon's face when he whacks someone with a pipe. The backgrounds look good, but nothing special. The only bad thing is that a bomb explosion looks just like a orange sphere.

Story 8/10
A gang of bad guys wish to turn Japan into a giant stange. They decide to begin by turning the castle close to Goemon's town into something odd first. Goemon, Ebisamuu,Yae and Sasuke see this and want to stop this, of course. And then your adventure begins.

Sound 10/10
Some very, very good Sound here. The sound effects are average, but the music is REALLY, REALLY good. They music llyrics are in Japanaise, and sound great. I can't really describe the music, I will only say it is good. The music will take over your mind and you will hum the tunes all the time!

Gameplay 9/10
You explore Japan and find new dungeons to roam through. Japan, (in the video game) is swarming with monsters carrying helpfuls such as a Dumpling, (health) or coins. You will need a lot of coins, because you should buy items that are helpful to your quest, such as Armor or a rest at the local inn. You can also roam through Zelda style dungeons, that are very diffrent from one another and boost fun and challenge. The most unique thing this game has to offer is Impact. Impact is a big robot that you play at diffrent to points in the game to beat up a huge enemie robot. You can punch, kick, hookshot or throw money at enemies to send him to the end! But the enemie can do the exact same to you, so you better get ready to fight! Overall this is very fun, and should be played by all gamers.

Control 7/10
Clean, simple and responsive. That is really all you need to say.

Replay Value 4/10
Sadly nothing is really there to keep you playing. But this game has nothing to be ashamed of, lots of adventure games has this problem, which I now call, ''Adventuregamearitus''.

Challenge 8/10
Good challenging game, but I wish it was just a little longer.

Buy or Rent?
Buy it. I promise you won't regret it!

Overall 9/10
''Isn't that Ebisamru hilarious?''-My friend
