"What ever you do, don't buy it. Rent it instead."

Introduction
Paperboy is a rather unusual game that involves a paperboy delivering the newspaper to subscribers. Along the way things like dogs, cars and even racoons will try to keep you from getting the papers in the mailbox. Luckily this task isn't so hard to complete thanks to responsive controls. And more importantly the game is fun. The only things I hate about this game is the ''graphics'', the easy challenge, and the lack of levels to keep you playing. Read on to get all the details.

Graphics 3/10
Ohhh come on, this is an Nintendo 64! They should have taken advantage of the opportunities they get! The paperboy and papergirl have their elbows knees and even their head detaced from the rest of there body. The boy alawys has this awful look on his face, too. The dogs and such you encounter look very similar to the
paperboy/girl also. Everything has a cartoonish feel, but that is no excuse to these graphics. This game boasts the worst celebration dance in history, your paperboy/girl does a little dance and then throws his/her
arm up hundreds of times. (ok I'm exxageratting a little.)

Story 6/10
You errr, have to deliver papers to their rightful designations.

Sound 5/10
Another low. The sound effects are way too cartoony, and will get on your nerves quickly. The music is very high pitched and below average, and that will get on your nerves more quicker than the sound. Overall the music is ok but needs some work to be anyware close to perfect, (something only Tony Hawk's Pro Skater has done.)

Gameplay 6/10
As I said earlier, you have to deliver newspaper to their rightful designations and for some odd reason almost everything wants to stop him. This is pretty much all there is to say about the normal levels. The bonus levels include finding fireflies(?), outrunning tornadoes, among others. This is pretty much all the game has to offer. All the levels are the same and the challenge level is almost none, so be ready for repetitive action. The game also seriously lacks levels, which only hurts the game more. Overall this game is ok...... for five minutes.

Controls 8/10
The programmers tried something new, and it paid off. you hold ''R'' to aim a shot to the right, and ''Z'' or ''L'' to aim to the left. The rest of the contols are simple but responsive. No complaints here.

Replay Value 2/10
I simply got sick of this game and stopped playing. It has very little to keep you playing, and even less to keep you playing for a half hour. If you are looking for a new game to keep you occupied for several months, try another game.

Challenge 2/10
It took me only five minutes to beat. I don't think that challenged me, do you?

Buy or Rent?
RENT. It is far too short to buy, but it is too unique to ignore.

Overall 5/10
