"The worst game on the Nintendo 64 by far."

Does anyone remember the scooter craze that happened around the year 2000? Scooters were enjoying a big rise of popularity once again. Sadly, the hype lasted only about three months, and in no time people were back to riding their bikes or their skateboards. Does anyone also remember when Tony Hawk's Pro Skater first came out? It was a huge success on all platforms. Well, someone had the smart idea of copying the Tony Hawk game with Razor Scooters instead. Four days after this idea was born, the game was released (or so it seems). Razor Freestyle Scooter is a laughable THPS clone, which fails in every category, as a game and as a clone.

Graphics: 1/10

The graphics are easily some of the most horrible I've seen come out of my N64. I'd say they're about 4 times worse than those in THPS. All you need to do is look at some screenshots and your eyes will suffer.

Music: 2/10

The soundtrack is horrible. As opposed to having cool punk/rock as on THPS, the producers decided to include a bunch of unknown bands in the game. None of the tracks are memorable, and to top it all off, the quality of the audio is awful. You can't blame this on the N64, seeing as the tracks in THPS sound much better on the same system. Also, while playing the game, you hear the effects about two seconds after impact. Say you run into a bus and fall, by the time your character gets up you'll hear some sort of sound, indicating that your guy ran into a bus two seconds ago. This game is better played on mute.

Gameplay: 1/10

Everything is either sloppy, horrible, or a mix of both. Sometimes, out of the blue, the game will not react to your controls. Have to press C-down to jump? Make sure you press it numerous times, since the game probably won't respond the first time around. This gets extremely frustrating with the analog stick, when your scooter has to be lined up properly in the half pipe to land. The levels are very poorly designed. "Alright, I'll put a bus here, then a half-pipe beside it, then another bus, then I'll repeat forever" is probably what the producers were thinking. To further my point that this is a Tony Hawk rip-off, the first level is a warehouse and the second level is a school. Need I say more?

Play time/Replayability: 1/10

This game is short. This could be good or bad, depending on how you see it. There's five levels and five different characters, and you start out with two of each. Unlocking the rest of the game is a incredibly easy, and once you do you won't have any sense of accomplishment. The levels and characters are all the same.

Overall: 1/10

What can I say? There's nothing appealing about this game. It was just another attempt at making a quick buck out of the trends at the time. Avoid this game at all costs.
