WWF No Mercy

"Know Your Role and Buy this game!!!!"

Hello, as some of you may know me, My name is GEOSAUR. This is my review for WWF No Mercy for the Nintendo 64 Game Console. I love this game. i have beaten the World Championship Title twice. I highly recommend this game to not just Wrestling fanatics, but other gamers too. now on to the game. WWF No Mercy (NM for short) is the Sequil to WWF wrestlemania 2000. it is a big improvement over it too. little things they add in make it a great game and the best one ive played yet.now the ratings:

GRAFIX: 9/10
Ok. the graphics in the game are the best from any wrestling game I've played. they are far superior to Smackdown 2. they just plain rock! the actions when you taunt, and the Arenas, and its all so great. some times they do get a little glitchy but thats ok. nuff said.

SOUND/MUSIC: 10/10
The Music in NM is great. the entrance songs are the exact ones from tv and they sound almost cd quality. a great selection too for CAW's. the original tracks are good too. the themes they play in story mode fits in with the position in the game very well. the sound effects are great too. from the sound of Scotty doing the worm, to the sound of a swift kick the the head, the sound is excellent.

CONTROL: 8/10
the controls are ok. great at times. i found it very easy to perform moves etc. it is hard to climb out of the cage in cage matches at times but you can do it eventually. you know the old saying, practice makes perfect!! The bad thing is reversals. it is very hard, to nearly impossible to reverse anything. or anything that involves stuff like that. you cant even hold a guy over your sholders for more than a second!!! cheap. that really needs to be improved next game.

STORYLINE: 10/10
when you play story mode it is so fun you wont want to stop playing it. ever!! the storylines are great. a big improvement over WM2K where you just fight and fight and fight OH! and for a change of pace, fight! no storyline in that game at all. in NM you also have the ability to spend the money you make in story mode. need protection?? hire a bodyguard. thats a good idea. i love that. you cant get much better than this.

HOW FUN???: 9/10
this game is really fun. this is the best game ive played since Zelda:MM. they improved the bad aspects of the old game and made this one better. good job THQ. Create A Wrestler,story mode, its all good. cant wait till the next game.

OVERALL: 10/10
REALLY GOOD GAME!!!!! WORTH BUYING!!!!!! if you still have tiume left for christmas gifts ask for this game!!!
