"Yes, Finally. Hey, no, don't freeze up now!!!"

Story 7/10
The story is great, unlike other N64 games there are voices in the cut scenes. In the game you play as Indiana Jones (as if you didn't already know this), an adventurer from the 1940s who likes raiding temples. You start the game raiding a temple and soon find out that the newly formed CIA needs your help to stop the Russians from finding all the parts to the infernal machine, which could end up being a powerful weapon. As with all thing Indy does, the infernal machine is a part of biblical history, it is supposedly from the Tower of Babel.
The cut scenes are show very often and cannot be skipped. In the cut scenes, Indy usually talks to himself and sometimes he will help you out by saying what to do.

Gameplay 8/10
This game has great gameplay, it is a lot like Zelda games (for N64 anyway), you set items on the C buttons, B is actions like grab or take or hang. This game is long, it took me 5 days just to get close to beating the 4th level.

Graphics 7.5/10
The graphics are good for an N64 game, but I have seen better. The graphics have been formed very well except for the humans which never move their mouths and they have hands that never move, sure there arms move, but never their hands. The expansion pak is not required, but you get better graphics and a bonus level for using it.

Sound 8.5/10
You will love the sounds in this game as long as you like voices and the Indiana Jones theme music (which you will hear A LOT). The only N64 game I've seen with more voices is Pokemon Stadium.

ESRB Teen
This game is rated T for a good reason, it is very violent. There is blood, but it's just a puff of red smoke when you shoot someone. Parents of children younger then 15 should stay far away from this game.

Rarity Very Rare
The only way to buy this game is directly from the two web sites below:
http://www.lucasarts.com/companystore/
http://www.blockbuster.com/
You can rent this game from Blockbuster, but it's too long for a rental.

Glitches 1/10
Freezing up, Freezing up, Freezing up. What more can I say. This is the most unstable game for a console I've EVER seen. It freezes up, it gets you stuck when you slide down a hill and hit a wall, sometime some objects become invisible. Some of the words you'll hear when playing this game include:

- Yes, Finally. Hey, no, don't freeze up now, stupid game.
- Nooooooo, not now, $@#%.
- Hey, why can't I move?
- Why did the cut-scene stop moving?

Closing
Is this game is worth $50? I'll let that up to you, if it didn't have so many glitches I'd say it was. If you don't already have it get some N64 Zelda games or if you like multi-player get Banjo-tooie for it's Doom-like 1st person shooter. If you have a bad temper, DON'T GET THIS GAME, I can guarantee that you'll have at least 1 broken controller after this game.
