"Worst Mega Man game ever"

Mega Man 64 has got to be the worst and only bad Mega Man game ever. This games shows why you shouldn't mess with great 2d games.

Story-1/10
Some stuff about the world being dominated by water and people called diggers are looking for energy generators. Also there is something about a mystical treasure called the Mother Lode.

Graphics-1/10
This is one of the few games where I would say that the graphics screwed up the game. The towns and backgrounds look very dull and all of the digging sites(dungeons) look exactly the same. The look of the game will turn even people who don't care about graphics away from the game. The characters look very dull and boring

Controls-1/10
Now this is what really screwed up the game play. It is impossible to control Mega Man. You use B to shoot, A to jump and C DOWN to talk to people or investigate items. When you talk to people you have to get in the exactly right place to push C DOWN or the person won't talk to you or tell you what you need to know. Also to actually shoot at something you have to hold down both L and Z to aim, this really slows down the game play.

Sound-1/10
Very dull. The music sucks and the voices are very boring to listen to.

Game play-1/10
This game tries to be an action/RPG hybrid like Zelda but fails horribly. Most of the game you go around talking to people that supply no useful info. You go without any action for very long periods of time and once you get to the action part of the game it sucks.

Challenge-
Hard for the wrong reason, which is bad control. For a good challenge play the original Mega Man.

Replay value-1/10
You won't even want to play through this one once. I heard there are some secrets like harder difficulty levels.

Buy or Rent? Neither, avoid this game like the plaque. It isn't even worth playing it for free. Avoid!!!!

Poor Mega Man will we ever see him in 2D again, I sure hope so because this game proves 2D is what game should really be. Do yourself a favor and pick up one of the classic Mega Man games instead of this pile of trash. Man, I though Mario 64 was bad until I played this.
