Resident Evil 2

"RE's sequel!"

YES! YES! YES....... Resident Evil 2 hits our shelves and being snapped up straight away by my filthy hands I plugged it in and started to play.

Well, I bet all of you want to know the big question ''Does it beat Resident Evil 1.'' The answer is yes! I recently played it on the Playstation and I thought that not even the N64's capacity of the 64 bits would be able to better the Playstation's version. But as I was VERY surprised, it lived up to the standered and mabye even bettered on the graphics side. The only problem I found that the gameplay was very similar and I suppose that is a main factor.

WOW! after my second time playing the game I realised that it had a super random generator. This means that the zombies and such are never in the same place, meaning that it will last longer and you will have to work really hard if you want to master it.

Are you one of those people who can't stand scary movies such as.... let me see, the Scream series and such? Well if you are STAY AWAY from this game. The game boasts many chiller moments to stop your heart pounding, whether you are walking through corridors and suddenly you see some dead freak jump out at you, or just watching a movie cut scene, some people will have a stroke or a heart attack.

One thing I was hoping for very much was a cooperative with Leon and Claire playing together. Leon and Claire, while I am about it are two new characters boasting new moves, new weapons and new story lines. Leon Kennedy has recently joined the Racoon City police force and that is where you begin. Life is good for Leon. The morning starts off with a quick drive down to the donut store, then back to the station before the Smurfs start. Although this poor old chap then sees a local postman eating his girlfriends brain.....hhhhhmmmmm I am not going to tell you the rest of the stroy because it would most probably reck it for you.

YEAH!! I was admittedly getting a bit sick of RE so when I heard that RE2 was coming.... Well you know how excited I must of been. The Ozisoft and Capcom teams have done a great jop in bringing this killer title to our screens
