"He Shoot's. He Score's"

General/Summary: Ok, this game rocks! It can't be summarized in any other way! In my opinion, the best Star Wars game out there. This is the first flight simulator game I've played that didn't suck.
Gameplay: Great, I thought it would get repetitive at first, but there's such a variety of missions, settings, enemies, and fighters you can use, that it never gets boring. In the snowspeeder levels you can trip up AT-AT's with your tow-cable a la Shadows of the Empire, which we all love. I was surprised by the AI, both from enemies and good guys. I saw eye-balls come at me head on in a cool-looking formation, then zig-zag around and come up nehind me. The next time I played the level, exact same squadron of eyeballs, two of them dove and came up right under me while the other flew upwards and came straight downward, all three firing like mad and nearly blowing my a** away. Plus freindly AI is even better. I had a squint right on my butt one time, i'm talking right on my butt, then i heard luke/me say something like ''I can't shake him!'' the next thing I know there's an explosion behind me and an X-wing flies over my head. THen i hear ''THanks Wedge!'' (I love Wedge!)The only thing lacking is a multiplayer mode where u get to blast the crap outta you're friends, or have some kind of group thingy where you and your friends make up a squadron and attack Imperial fighters in special side missions.

Graphics: Can anyone say, sweet? These graphics kick a**. You can see every little detail, every little scratch and curve on your ship. I even saw rust on the y-wings! You can swwop in low and blast away small ground targets like stormtroopers, sand people, and peopla on speeder bikes, but the graphics on them are kind of crrappy unless you have an expansion pack. But then again, this game isn't about going up against guys on with in an X-Wing fighter, so I can unjderstand why no one would bother to spend time making stormtroopers graphics realistic. Although if they fire at you, you can see them rise thier blasters, aim, and fire, even without the expansion pack!

Sound: The roar of the engines, the explosions, the satisfying sound of firing off your quad-laser cannons, the music that gets you into the mood to blast the crap outta anything that messes with you, this game has it all when it comes to sound. The voice acting is by farm the best. When the guy reads the mission objectives before each level, I feel like I'm a rebel pilot, getting briefed aboard the bridge of a Calamari Cruiser.
In short, buy, don't rent this game!
