FIFA 99

"Soccer at its best"

To my knowledge there's two soccer games [+ variations] for the N64. There's the International Super Soccer..... [I'll call it ISS for now] whatever, and there's Fifa. I played ISS a few months [the 64 one not the new one] ago and it was okay. Just okay. About a week ago I took a little chance and went out and bought Fifa 99. When I sat down to play it, I was very excited because I knew almost nothing about the game. As soon as it was on I knew it would be great just because of the music. Than I found the massive team selections. There are so many different leagues and so many teams in each league. From what I remember about ISS, this doesn't even compare. Than I picked my favorite team, and went head on into my first game. The computer AI on the other team was brilliantly planned. Every player and feature is in excellent graphic detail, and every time I had the ball another of my teammates would run to a passing position. Not to say the game is easy, it has some very hard tactics, bad teams, and different levels of play. This is my favorite game by far.
