"If you liked Mortal Kombat 3, you'll love Trilogy"

If you've played Mortal Kombat 3, then you'll know what to expect here. Trilogy is just an updated version of 3, but it's VERY updated. You'll find a huge roster just waiting to rip eachothers lungs out in this game.

The gameplay is just like it is in Mortal Kombat 3. You fight in battles in which the best two out of three rounds won make you a winner. The fun of this game, however, is the buckets of blood that will fly whenever you attack your enemy. Also, like Mortal Kombat 3, this game has all the fatalities, babalities, friendships, pit moves, mercies, and animalities you can preform on the losing person, but this game has brutalities as well. Stopping Shao Kahn has never been as fun (or as gory) as this!

The best thing about this game is its roster. Every character from Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and 3 are playable (with the exeption of Goro and Kintaro). Even Shao Kahn can be accessed in this game using a code. Also in this game is a new hidden characther: Khameleon, who is a woman fighter who has the powers of all the woman ninjas in the game. She too can be accessed by using a code!

The graphics of this game are good and crisp, but they're not as outstanding as the Nintendo 64 can produce. This can partly be blamed on it being a 1st generation game, but it never tried to be a game that wowed everybody with its graphics. It was made to be a definative Mortal Kombat game (at the time) so MK fans would be happy.

If you are expecting an incredibly awesome game that's the best game ever made, you'll be disapointed with Mortal Kombat Trilogy. If you're just expecting a fun game you can play to release tension and decapitate people, you're in luck. It's worth a rent at the very least.
