"Did the first RPG on the Nintendo 64 really have to be like this?"

Blahhh.... thats all I can say! Blahhh.... Okay, let me start this off. Quest 64 is one of THE biggest crap games I have ever played. I have made the mistake of buying it, and I deeply regret it now. See below for why...

Gameplay: 3/10- This game is WAY too easy. There are only two hard parts I can count, and the final boss isn't one of them! Combat happens too much as well, and if the monsters are "hard," you'll find yourself wearing out your C buttons trying to heal yourself. Control stinks too: too often did I find myself halfway through a cave and get into a fight, and then turning myself around to find... I'm at the entrance! Direct quote: "&@%$ it!! It took me an hour to get to where I was, and now I'm back to start?!"

Story: 1/10- Like everything else in this game, pure crap. The save the world thing is WAY too overused, but they could have made it SOMEWHAT interesting, like in Zelda.

Graphics: 2/10- Oftentimes I've found myself in combat, trying to flee. I'm behind the other octagon, so shouldn't it say escape? NO! I rotate the camera to find... combat is occuring through a mountain and the escape line is raised just past my boundary line of moving! WHAT THE @$^@ IS UP WITH THAT?!

Sound/Music: 0/10- The only sounds in this game is footsteps and the bonk when you hit an enemy. BIG DEAL! The music is also annoying and repetitive

Replayability: 6/10- The only good part about Quest is that you can start a new game and find all the spells you missed in other elements. But, thats only worth ONE play.

Buy or Rent?- What do you think? NEITHER! This game is just pure crap

Overall: 1/10- This game is simply crap. Enough said.
