Rampage World Tour
Review by Turtle boy
"A fun game...for the first 5 minutes of play"
GAMEPLAY 1/10 (8)
Rampage is great fun and the object of the game is simple, as a huge monster you must trash cites, blow up buildings and eat innocent bystanders. The game has over 200 stages each of them are really short and all you have to do is destroy every building and house in sight. Since you are a huge monster who is running amok in cites around the world, the National Guard is going to pull some firepower out on your ass. Tanks, helicopters and all shorts of 50.s will rush you and try to shoot ya down. Along the way you will take up some major damage and you must eat humans to replenish you health. To me I think causing havoc and brutally devouring people is friggin fun.
GRAPHICS 1/10 (7)
Rampage is only in 2-D but the colors are rich and the monsters look a lot better then they were on the original Nintendo. The makers of Rampage should have made the tiny little humans a lot better looking
SOUND 1/10 (7)
People screaming, explosions, gun shots and inhuman growls are the sounds of Rampage. Each effect kinda sounds grainy but its for the most part good.
STORY 1/10 (8)
The story to Rampage is really creative and original. Your characters are Ralph the werewolf, Lizzy the lizard or George the giant ape. Before they turned monster each one of the characters were scientists at Scum Labs. Inc, the labatorys run by a slimy owner. When working in Scum Labs one day your boss tries a new chemical on your character to test the results. The chemical transforms your character into a hideous beast. Now to get your revenge on Scum Labs you must travel around the globe and find all 17 Scum Labs and destroy them. Little do you know that they are always hidden buildings that look normal to disguise them. Now you only choice is to destroy all building in all the worlds major cities to find the Scum labs and stop your boss (Dr. Demonic).
SHOULD I BUY IT OR RENT IT
You should defiantly rent this game, or if you get lucky and find it for only 20 dollars in a clearance rack then pick it up.
THE BOTTOM LINE
A very fun game but the fun wears off after a short while making it impossible to complete all 200 stages.
