Turok 2: Seeds of Evil

"This games TIGHT! My opinion is that its better then.... should i say it...... ZELDA 64!!"

For starters, im just gonna give a simple access, easy to read review. It should make it easy to find my opinion on whatever part of the game you want to know about. Here it goes:

GRAPHICS

10/10. out of all the games ive played on the N64, this one has the best looking graphics. And i dont even own the 8 MB expantion pak. The textures are awsome looking and the enemys look well..... better then any enemys so far on a game.

Ups: Just about everything. great textures, spectaculare enemy animations great weapon effects.

Downs:Only thing i can think of putting is the fact that theres Fog. Not too much but sometimes when an enemys shooting at you from a far, it sucks when you cant see em.

CONTROL:

10/10. The control on this game is very effective. it alows better moving then Goldeneye and i think better aiming.Changeing Guns is easy and fast too. There are 2 modes of control. Turok and Goldeneye. I reccomend turok controls for better aiming.

Ups: Easy, Quick,effective. Nuff said

Downs: Sniper modes not as cool as goldeneye.

SOUND

10/10. Better sound then any 64 game. Creepy and happening music score and great monster screams. Weapons and explosions are totally awsome sounding. my favorite thing about the sound is the music for the first level. It reminds me so much of the song TRUST by megadeth. its soooo cool!

Ups:Awsome soundtrack

Downs: Cant think of any.

FRAME RATE:

8/10. Im putting this section in because everyone is complaining about framerate problems. the speed is fine. maybe not as fast as F Zero but fast enough to get the job done. ive only had one problem, once, in level 2, about 30 zombies were all attacking me at once, and things got choppy. but it wasnt even unbarable.TRUST me, its good enough to play the game and have lots of fun.

WEAPONS

9/10. The best weapons by far ever on a first person shooter. they are so friggin cool looking! and they sound awsome. they are also very well balenced (in terms of enemy damage and location). My favorite weapon so far ( i havent even gotten em all) it the flame througher. its so cool looking i could faint. polygonal too.

OTHER COOL STUFF:

ever seen predator? this game reminds my ALOT of it. the starting blades you get are exactly like predators. and you get a cool looking chaingun that looks is like Venturas in the movie (the best part of that movie right?) there are also enemys who look some-what like the predator. they have a shoulder cannon like his, and they can cloke like predator too. they even self destruct sometimes after being bombed on. there are also other cool stuff like a hella fun multi player. but personly, goldeneyes was funner.but in multi player, different charicters have different abilitys. some are big and slow but get more life. and others are small fast and can regenerate life.nothings cooler then shooting a bore into a friends head and the whip out your chaingun and bomb on them while there stunned. another of the great stuff is the death animations. they are soo tight!!! i could just watch bad guys die all day. they shake and twitch as they die. when you blow a raptors head off, it walks a step, falls over, then gets up again, only to take a few wobbley steps and fall again. and for another thing, ill just say one word. blood.

OVERALL.

10/10. Best 64 game ever. better then the first turok, goldeneye, and even better then zelda (witch i thought was way too easy,and dissapointing) BUY IT!!! NOW!!!
