Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
Review by MPeyrard
"Gorier than Unreal!"
The only game that could possibly be gorier than Unreal has arrived, and it's only on the Nintendo 64!
Graphics: 9/10
Graphics are excellent, except for some slowdown, good animation and death scenes, nearly no glitches.
Graphics: 10/10
Awesome sound, everything sounds clear and crisp, just as it would in real life.
Music: 6/10
Music is a little corny, some are good, but some really suck, too repetitive.
Controls: 5/10
Controls are a little touchy, and when not touchy, too slow. Slow down prevents from accurate aiming, could have been better.
Level Design: 4/10
I have mixed feelings about level designs. They are excessively long, this causes some boredom. Sometimes so much boredom that you just don't care anymore. Moreover, a little too jumpy (you have to make many jumps, most easy, but some impossible).
Gameplay: 10/10
AAAAAAAAAAAAH, the thrill of the kill, excellent. Awesome weapons, to hard to aim, so just put on auto aim, don't like blood, turn it off, Gameplay has it all.
Story: 4/10
Good story line but could have been MUCH better.
Replay Value: 7/10
Only multiplayer has replay value, the multiplayer is the best, only fun for three or four players though.
Overall: 55/80
Overall, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is a great game. The story may not be any good, however, that barely interferes with the fun factor of the game, which is excellent. Turok 2 makes for a excellent weekly rental, so if you are one of those gamers who loves violence and gore, then I suggest that you rush down to your nearest Microplay and rent it right away!
