Super Smash Bros.
Review by AMorozin
"All your favorite Nintendo characters in a fighting game! You must pick your favorite and battle everyone until you get to the Master!"
-This game is great! I have been waiting for a good fighting game for a while. It has arrived. Filled with all of my favorite characters. And the only character I don't care about is a really good fighter. He is Captain Falcon. I first heard of this game last month (April), in a Nintendo Power magazine. What I loved most about this game is that Ness, a character from one of my favorite RPGs and games, is in here. I didn't care why he was in the game or how...I just loved it. It turns out the people who made EarthBound helped Nintendo make smash Bros! I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!
-The game is pretty difficult in 1 Player mode. Any fighting game freak that thinks this is a child's game should try getting Ness on the Hard difficulty! Or falcon on the Hard difficulty. Now what's a child's game? But I wouldn't say this game is too difficult. It is good for not very good players and very good players. It is good for everyone!
-I'd say Miyamoto has some humor. So this game has humor. Just try some of the taunts with the L Button. You'll find some humor in here. especially the pink clothes on the men characters!
-The game control is really good since unlike other fighting games, the moves are not extremely complicated! This is Nintendo. Not RARE! If you want a mind wasting, button mashing, confusing fighting game go buy Killer Instinct Gold! If you want a fun game buy this one! The controls are what a lot of people like...easy and understandable.
-This game has fun all over it. Why? All your favorite Nintendo characters in a fighting game. This is the only fighting game I won...and like! It is a fighting game with the fun stuff added by Miyamoto. Now would miyamoto just leave you with a game full of nothing but fatalities? No! There are fun items to use! And there are no complicated moves, too!
-The story is fun since you must figuire it out on your own...or just read it here!
The Story:
There is this boy. An average Nintendo loving boy. This boy has Nintendo characters of all our favorite Nintendo characters! (Not fair! When I was young they had crappy non moving mario figurines and that is all!) Anyway this boy likes to play a game. He gets his toys and battles them. Near the end he puts on a glove and fights the challenger. If you don't belive me check the game! The characters drop like dolls (toys) onto a child's desk. Come on..."Master hand". That is the Master's (master of the toys, or owners) hand! Thankyou, thankyou!
-The designing is great! The levels are great, there are lots of hidden stuff, hidden characters, lots of items, great characters! It's poifect!
-The graphics are nice. ...That's all.. Everyone looks the same. That's what we all want, right? The same. And some people finally made it to 3D. Samus, Ness, and Kirby are finally in 3D.
-The sounds are good and bad. Kirby, Pikachu, DK, Fox, Mario, and Luigi sound fine. But...what is with link!? Come on! Miyamoto didn't add voices to Zelda 64...but instead we got a very annoying voice anyway! And in Super Smash Bros. it sounds worse!
-The music is great! All your favorite Nintendo characters get their classic songs! each stage gets its own classic song taht goes with the game. Whenever you feel like listening to the music and not fighting, just get the hidden Sound Test option!
