"REVIEW #100! I've accomplished my lifelong goal of being a pathetic loser!"
Blast Corps is a game unlike any other game. It was overlooked when it first came out.
Game Play-
8/10
The game is a mix of stuff. The main objective of the game is to clear a path in levels so that a truck full of nuclear missiles doesn't crash. After you clear a path, you get to go back and demolish all of the remaining buildings. The game is one of the most challenging games I've ever played. But, the game is also really short. There are many vehicles in the game, each with a strength. One vehicle is a flying robot that can jump high and land hard on buildings. Another vehicle requires a spinning technique in order to destroy buildings.
There are tons of minigames, ranging from 4 laps on a race track to destroying buildings in a time limit. The game is full of different things to do. The game's main problem is difficulty. The game is extremely hard. The minigames can be really hard too. The racing ones are easy, but the ones where you demolish stuff in a set time can be frustratingly difficult.
Control-
6/10
It takes time, lots and lots of time, to get used to the control in this game. The control sometimes shifts directions for no apparent reason.
Audio-
5/10
The soundtrack is pretty bad. I didn't care for it much. It sounded like each track was made for one particular level, then they stuck them in other levels and it didn't work. I have no beef with the sound effects. They're pretty good.
Graphics-
4/10
The graphics are really bad. They look really 16-bit. The camera angles are pretty bad also. There's no flash to the graphics. And the racing cars (Muscle Car, American Dream, and Police Car), they look like Matchbox cars. The camera angles really mess you up. The graphics are set from an overhead view, with adjustable angles. I wish they'd let you zoom out more.
Enjoyability-
8/10
The game is really fun, yet incredibly hard and frustrating. The game has racing, puzzle solving, and downright destruction. This game is recommended for people who like destroying things. The game aught to satisfy part of your gaming appetite. The game will keep you busy for a while, but it won't be fun after a while, whether you beat the game, broke your controller in anger, or just can't beat the next level.

Doodleheimer's Recommendationitivity
I bought the game for ten bucks, and I found it a good value. I'd get it if you like destroying buildings, and frantically trying over and over again to beat the same level. Game is not recommended for those who can break an N64 controller.
Street Price-$9.99
