Vigilante 8

"Lay waste to everything!"

Vigilante 8 is basically a Twisted metal clone, but it is awesome! Cars flying everywhere, and 8 fully destructible levels to do it in! And there are secret levels as well as secret cars in there, so strap yourself in and unlock them! You can play by yourself, or have 4 players join the fun and have a serious party! You got a few weapons to work with, each having 2 special moves with certain push button codes. you got 8 levels, plus secret ones, 8 cars, and secret ones, and about 5 standard weapons plus each car has a special weapon unique to that car and driver.

Gameplay-10
You can play by yourself with up to 12 cars in a single match (4 at a time though) or play Survival and see how long you can survive! 3 difficulty levels and loads of fun! It is fun to just go through the levels destroying everything in sight!!! and you can bully computer controlled opponents anytime you want! So, does that sound good? Only bad part of multi is you cannot switch teams, Brawl is a free for all, Team (2 vs 2) is always Players 1&2 versus players 3&4, an inconvenience if player 1 wanted to team up with player 3, and the smear match (3 vs 1) the 1st player is always the loner in that match.

You got custom controls! You can make any setup you want! That's what a game should always have!

Sound-9
A sweet thumpin' 8 music tracks that rock, and humming realistic engines and the sound of explosions everywhere and flying weapons galore. Listen to yourself burn an entire level to the ground....and then...do it again!

Graphics-10
You should get an expansion pak and witness the graphics of Casino City! The levels are awesome and truly a sight to see, as well as all the firepower flying around you! Enter the code MAX_RESOLUTION if you want even better graphics. You can get ULTRA resolution when you select resolutions at the start menu!

Playability-5
Easy to play, but you need a controller pak to save, you can sometimes get caught in a bunch of incoming firepower and not be able to get out, which can frustrate you sometimes, and the game freezes on occasion...That shouldn't happen....

Replay Value-9
You can play single player quest, or arcade, you can bust cars, bust levels, bust both, and if you got friends, play multiplayer! You can play teams 2 on 2, but it is always P1&P2 vs P3&P4 and player 1 is always the loner in a smear match

Saving
Password feature allows you to keep your progress without an expansion pak, about 14 letters long, so it is fairly long, you need an expansion pak to save the game directly. It does not autosave you need to delete your old note and save a new one if you want to save an update on your progress. Learn this before you get good progress and lose it.

Hardware
Controller pak needed to save the game without using a password to get it back, graphics are much better with an Expansion pak, the Expansion pak is optional, but I suggest you get one for the awesome graphics! Rumble pak compatible, 1-4 players simultaneous, you can play team, 3 vs 1, and 2 vs 2 multiplayer with no switchable teams, and against computers in one or two player arcade matches.
