"Pokemon Snap - Less Pokemon, Great Graphics"

STORY (9/10): Your name is Todd. From the Pokemon TV show. You take pictures of Pokemon. This is a great new twist to the World of Pokemon. There are only 63 out of 151 Pokemon in this game. If there were all 151, then I think this would be the perfect Nintendo 64 game.

GRAPHICS (10/10): The graphics in the game are awesome! All 63 Pokemon are drawn in great 3D forms! Definitely an awesome part of the game. This doesn't really make up for the missing 88 Pokemon, but it makes up for half of them!

GAMEPLAY (9/10): Awesome if you love Pokemon or Photography. This game really brings out Pokemon in a new way. The object is to take pictures of Pokemon and get the best grade you can on them. It's scored this way. The more Pokemon you have in the picture, the better. If the Pokemon is doing something weird, the better. The closer the Pokemon, the better. So if you get something like 5 Pidgeys chasing 2 Rattatas, you got a gold mine for points.

MUSIC & SOUND (7/10): There isn't that much music in this game. It's fun to hear all the Pokemon though. I think there should be more music to make it better...

CONTROL (7/10): Too bad you couldn't roam around Pokemon Island yourself. Here are the controls to this game. The joystick is your view. Z is your camera focus. When you find the right Pokemon to take a picture of hit Z+A. A throws Pokemon Food. B throws a Pester ball, which annoys Pokemon so they do funny things. C-Down plays the Pokeflute. C-Up, Left, and Right turns the camera to the right, left, and behind quickly. R speeds up the Zero-1.

FUN FACTOR (7/10): You'll probably beat this game in about a week. Not much fun if you go through the game fast. The thing that saved this area is that you can print out 4 of your favorite shots in sticker form at a Blockbuster.

CHALLENGE (6/10): Not much of a Challenge to Photographers :) anyone else that tries will think it's kind of easy. If the game was longer and had more Pokemon in it, it would probably get a much better score, but what can you do?

REPLAY VALUE (8/10): You'll probably play this again 2 or 3 times to try and get better shots of the Pokemon. Other than that, I don't think you want a tour of all the Pokemon...

RENT OR BUY? I'd rent this game. It's not worth the 60 dollars. You can keep renting it if it's the stickers you want...

OVERALL SCORE: (7/10): It would be much better if you could travel by foot. You'll beat this game in about a week with all 63 Pokemon in awesome shots. I'd give this game a much better score if it was longer...
