"How fun can taking some pictures be?"

Pokemon is a brand new game just put out on the shelves July 31 by Nintendo. It will probally only sell because of the little monsters in this game.

Storyline: Unless you have been stuck in cave away from all of human life you know what Pokemon is. It is little helpless creatures running around and getting caught by Pokemon trainers. Where ever this takes place everything is based on Pokemon. Every where from school to every proffesion. But in Pokemon Snap the story line is a little different. You take the role of a Photographer and you must get pictures of all 151 Pokemon. Yes, even Mew is in this game. Sounds boring right? Thats what I thought at first......

Storyline Rating: 1 Who wants to waste $50-$60 to take pictures?

Graphics: The graphics in this game are simple yet cool. For the first time you get to see what your favorite Pokemon looks like in 3D. Also if you don't watch the T.V. show you get to see the real color of all the Pokemon.

Graphics Rating: 9 Simple yet not blocky at all.

Control: This is another part which makes this game a little less fun. You ride in a vehicle and have no control over it. It is on a simple track that only goes one way. No way to slow down or speed up. Also it is preety annoying holding Z down the hole time to aim. When you are taking pictures you must also through objects while trying to take a picture.

Control Rating: 4 You need control over the vehicle!

Replay/ Fun Factor: This is where the fun starts. Taking pictures may not seem fun at first but that is no where near true. What is more fun then hitting Pikachu on the head with an apple! Or getting Charmander roasted by two Magmar! That is what I call fun. Hurting Pokemon is fun :o) Once you get good at taking pictures and also get used to the control this game is going to be more fun than you think. I promise you that you will play it again and again!

Reply/ Fun Factor: 10 Torturing Pokemon is fun!

Overall: For some never stopping fun buy this game. If you can't fork over $50 take a foling chair over to your local blockbuter and play it thier. Also the sticker machine might be worth a couple tries.

Overall: 7 Fun game bad storyline...
