"The Great Puzzle game Series lives on.... But - poor graphics and terrible music bogs this game down."

Bust-A-Move returns for the new millenium...or close to it. This game will satisfy all Puzzle gaming fans, but might leave a few annoyed with the horrible, repetive Japanese music. And - the graphics don't shine like the other Bust-A-Moves did. But, still, it proves to be addicting as cigarettes, and when you have nothing else to do - you will defintely play this game just for the heck of it.

Gameplay 10/10

Like I said, this game is amazingly ADDICTING. You will not be able to leave it! Puzzle fans - take heed to my words: "You will not be disappointed." It features over 300 new puzzles and it's much more challenging. You can play the "Puzzle mode" or "One-Player mode" where you venture out defeating the CPU in Bust-A-Move "matches." The CPU has much more advanced A.I. and will be terribly hard to beat, which will have Puzzle fans PLAYING AND PLAYING!

Graphics 4/10

Even with the N64's amazing graphic abilities, the Graphics in this game are terribly done. They look more like Quest 64's Graphics, but even worse. The Puzzle boards and the little marble thingies look very fuzzy, and the characters at the bottom of the boards look like drawings in a sketchbook. It is totally evident that the developers spent more time on the gameplay than the graphics.

Sound/Music 1/10

UGH! Terrible! The music is so repetive (so is the Sound F/X) it's funny. The ugly Japanese tunes and the annoying, very annoying, I might add, voices will force you to turn the volume to mute on your TV set. That's what I did and it elimnates problem, it really does! But - unlike the other Bust-A-Move games, this one needs to be turned down.

Control 10/10

The control is simple, easy and fans of the series will defintely have no problem picking up these controls.

Replay Value 10/10

OH YEAH! You will DEFINTELY play this game again! If you just want to challenge the surprisingly hard CPU or just play around and kick your friend's ass in a 2 player match, this game will not be forgotten.

Overall 7/10

So - I didn't give it such a good rating because of that horrible music and graphics, but really, the music and graphics killed the game because they average in at 15% of the game's overall rating. The game really came out at a 7.9, but since there were no decimals, I had to go with the 7. But, basically, despite the horrible graphics and music, this game will satisfy every Bust-A-Move fan.
