Army Men: Sarge's Heroes

"Absolutely horrible!"

Gameplay: 2/10 In army men, most of the stages are just rescuing someone or getting to the end of the area. All the enemy soldiers are incredibly weak, yet can do ridiculous amounts of damage. The game also has a pathetically small amount of weapons to use. One of the other problems comes from the fact that your aiming is horribly slow.

Story: 1/10 There really isn't much to the story. It's basically just some war between the green army and the tan army.

Audio/Video: 3/10 Most of the music is pretty lame, and you'll probably want to play with the sound down. The sound effects are passable, but that's it. Most of the graphics are really weak on top of that. The soldiers are either green or tan, just like the toy versions. The weapons are also all one color, making them look really cheap. The tanks and helicopters also look incredibly cheap.

Replay ability: 1/10 I don’t think replay ability is much of a question. After playing through the first few stages of this game, you'll probably want to throw it out the window. The one player isn't any more fun to complete again then it was the first time. There is a multi player, but there are far better multi players out there (like Goldeneye or Perfect Dark). In the multi player you can choose from a few characters and areas. You'll just randomly warp back after each time you get killed and with a gun as soon as you come back. I found the only actual fun thing in it to be watching what happens when you shoot enemy soldiers with a flame-thrower. Or, you could just use the game pack as a clay pigeon (which would be far more fun then actually playing the game).

Buy/Rent: I think you know what I'm going to say here. Don’t ever buy this game, or you will be truly sorry you did. Don’t even buy it if it's on clearance for 15 bucks! The most I would be willing to spend on this dog is a dollar. Frankly, I wouldn't even recommend renting this game, unless you want to waste your money.

Overall: 2/10 (and that’s being generous). Seriously, this is a truly horrible game, probably one of the 20 worst games of all time. The gameplay is boring and has bad controls. The story, audio, and video all bites. And frankly, this game has NO replay value.
