Rampage World Tour
Review by Shaggz 2 Dope
"What Could Possibly Be More Fun Than Eating People And Beating The Crud Out Of Buildings?"
If you enjoy destroying things or just love to see stuff destroyed then this is your game.
You are a former technician at Scumlab Inc. one day you are working when suddenly turned into a 40-foot monster who is really pissed. The only thing going through your mind destroy every Scumlab facility across the planet.
Now you might think that this is just some game where you destroy stuff and is probably for those with a low IQ well let me ask you this have you ever been so pissed but have nothing really big to destroy? Well in Rampage you get to destroy over 120 cities not counting all the secret stages that you might stumble on. Besides you have three monsters to choose from George: The Ape-Man; Ralph: The Giant Werewolf Thing; and Lizzie: The Giant Lizard With An Attitude. You can customize each of their colors to suit each and every one of your different tastes.
I think that this game deserves a perfect 10 because of the factors. Great graphics, which are easy to look at and understand. The sound which is simple enough to sound clear and still be distinguishable. The controls three simple buttons are assigned to be kick, jump, and punch but can be combined in ways to make even more powerful attacks. But the greatest thing about this game is the design. The levels are a bit repetitive but start to get harder and harder each time. The multiplayer is also great which I will explain more about below.
The multiplayer is even more fun and holds the original arcade feel. The only little tidbit that some might find bad about this game is there is that only up to three players can play but isn't only two players in the arcade? What about the Playstation? That's only two players. I say as long as more than only you can play in this game the multiplayer is good enough for me. Multiplayer is also better if you wat to beat the games, since you and you bud(s) can each take a building which will probably make the game 2 times faster to beat. There is also little special stages that you can part take in like grudge and death matches where you can get medieval on your partners in order to rack in a larger amount of points.
I hope this has helped you in whether to buy this game the next time you see a cartridge in sale, or play it the next time you see at an arcade near you.
Thanks for your time and I hope this review was very helpful.
