The New Tetris

The New Tetris is the ultimate Tetris. Ever since it came out for the Gameboy back in the mid 80's there has been some version of it on every other system. Occasionally at my local arcade I see people playing the original Tetris. Each time the Tetris series takes either a step up, or a step down. This time it's taken the 100-meter dash up a cliff.

The four-player mode is awesome. Being able to sit down and conquer all of your friends in a fast paced legend is fun.

Other than the four-player option, The New Tetris allows players to switch between the piece coming next and the piece currently in play. This switch can only be done once per piece so it's not worth making unnecessary switches for fun.

Along with a couple new pieces, The New Tetris has some of the best music I've heard in a long time. Following in the footsteps of Tetrisphere, the music is a mix of new age stuff. The tune is still the original from the old Gameboy version, but it's really pumped up with some fun instruments.

This is the ultimate Tetris game for any Tetris fan. If you're the type of player interested in puzzles, this is the game for you. Buy this now.
