Road Rash 64

"Take that, ye dirty bastard! Oh no! AAaaaahhh. I'll get you for that."

Well, I loved the Road Rash Series for Genesis. Now this seemed interesting. So I got it for 45 bucks at Ebay.

Well, The graphics suck. The scenario is rather bland (But this is not F-Zero) and the bikers look horrid. The Bikes look rather cool and the game can run with 12 bikers, high resolution without slowdown. Whoa. That was a good sacrifice, since every biker pretty much stick together, so there is carnage all the time. Score: 7

Road Rash itself is a well-known motorcycle racing game where you get to kick some ass. The racing itself is really great. It is really fast and without slowdown. The Track design is very cool also. Trash Mode is for when you just feel like a quick fun. The Big Game itself is nice, but way too hard. It gets to frickin' hard all of a sudden and you'll find yourself kicking the tv. The ass kicking is really cool (Although no blood involved) There are many different weapons to choose and they all are different. The only problem with this game is cheating. The computer cheats a lot (Although not as much as Mario Kart.)

Aaaahhh, the multiplayer. I have the brass to tell you that this game is more fun than SSB, multiplayer related. Too bad there are only 5 tracks for multiplayer. Damn, that's too little! But they're all different and you'll find yourself kicking your friend's ass. There can be strategy too. You and your friedn can sandwich opponents and his ass will go down. This game is awesome Score: 9 (I've said ass too much, right?)

Sound: Whoa, is that real music? In a cartridge? And no loading like Wipeout 64? Whoa! The music is very fitting. It is like some cool heavy metal. "You don't mess with my... " Too bad there is no voice. You know that videogames lack? Cursing. I mean, if someone shoves a monkey wrench on your front wheel (that's possible) you won't mind saying "Oh, gosh darn it." You would say "You son of a **** you ******* ***hole." That would rate RR64 M. Then maybe it would sell better. Score: 9

Control: This game controls very nicely. What can I say? Score: 8

Replay Value: You and your friends (If you have any.) will enjoy this. Take my word for it Score: 10

Rent/buy: If you like Road Rash, bike racing or multiplayer games, then why bother renting. Buy it NOW! The rest of you should rent and see if it is your style..
