WinBack: Covert Operations

Winback....When I saw it I was suprised the N64 is trying to copy the Playstation what I mean is just look at the star of Winback and the star of of Metal Gear Solid and tell me they dont look the same.Man this game is also trying to be like it to. But I did have a bit of faith with its 4-player mode and all but when I first played it im kinda dissapointed.

Graphics 7/10
The characters are a bit cool looking.But all the places you go to are dumb looking and also there is FOG!IN THE GAME!!I thoght the N64 had gotten rid of that old flaw they had in the past games.And also the thing that the stold from Metal Gear Solid is when you see the target it moves in that sqiqqaly way that it does in MGS.(If ya know what im talkin about)

Gameplay 6/10
Well here we go shot him shot him complete mission bla bla bla bla like that hasnt been done before.But seriously the game is kinda good the finally a four player mode that as good as GoldenEye I didnt find Turok,Quake 2,or Jet Force Geminis multi player modes that fun at all.And there arnt that many weapons either.{And what I hate the most is that big fat guy with the leather goggles...he creaps me out}

Sound 7/10
Well they have been on this game for awhile they should have put voies in the game rather than "there he is"or "I see him!".And the sound of the guns are good I guess not as good as Metal Gear Solid tho.

Story 6/10
It starts out were you are in a helicopter and a guy named Dan is telling you your mission but then the helicopter bumps then everybody jupes out of the plane and the star is the last cause he is waiting for Dan but then gives up in a few seconds and sees him blow up in the helicopter (what a friend) and then your adventure begins.

Winback is good but not great.And it looks like they have made a new gener in the clones department there was the Mario clones,the street fighter clones,the doom clones,the Resident evil clones,and now the Metal Gear Solid clones!!yeah...... Rent or Buy:Rent if your not a fan of Metal Gear Solid and big fat scary guys with leather goggles.
