Quake II

"I actually liked the first quake more than this one, but this one is okay I guess"

I think the game is very fun, but goes a little slow. Quake is a scary game, number two wasn't scary that much. I rather prefer quake 1. That game was really frightning! This one is just not scary at all. I still think the game is good, just needs a little more work on it i'll say.

What in the world is this! The graphics for quake 2 stink! They really aren't good. Even though there 3-D I still like quake 1 graphics more. They should of just stick with the 1st game graphics. I mean c mon! When you walk around to some places, sometimes you'll see dead people just lying on the ground and these little flies are just roaming around him! Did you ever notice that the flies are squares! And a bullet from a gun is a square too! And so is the explosion! Gesse. I guess some people would like the graphics though, But man, to me they really stink badly. I hope the next quake game stick with the old graphics or even better because these really stink.

sound and music 7.8/10
I like the sound for this game. The part where your in jail and you hear all these people screaming and getting killed. That was the scariest part in the game because the sound was so creepy. The music is ok. I like the music at the options. Besides that, the music isn't that much. I still think these two are wonderful and good.

Gameplay 7.6/10
This game is hard. It has lots of bad guys to kill and other cool stuff, but it's really hard. The first level is rather easy, but when you get more into the game, you'll be fighting for your life. I think quake 2 is very difficult and hard to beat. I played this one level and wasn't even expecting a boss who was a giant tank who shoot out missles and ran over you. I had to use all of my bullets on that boss and the next mission I didn't have anything to fight with! So if you want this game, just want to tell you that it's really hard. It takes about 2 weeks to beat, but if it's on hard mode, it's a different story. Once you beaten the game, you can always try it again on hard mode and see if you can survive, there isn't a option to play any level though. That's what I really hate about this game. The levels are really fun. Multi-player is always fun though.

I really don't think once you beaten the game you'll want to play it over again. It gets kind of boring. You could play it on hard mode or something if you haven't, but that's really all of the game if you beaten it.

play control 7.4/10
the play control is ok. Sometimes it all ways screws up on me. You use some of the buttons on this game, not all of them. I actually like it that you don't have to use all of the buttons. Anyways the play control is ok.

multi player 7.4/10
I think the multi player is great. There's lots of games to play and you get to choose a character and fight. You can be in teams and vs your friends. I think quake's multi player is great, but if your thinking of getting a multi player game that has shooting and stuff in it Get perfect dark all the way because this is just a little section of perfect dark.

Quake 2 is a good game, just needs a little more work in it. I think the sound is great and is very difficult. This game should get a 7. It would of gotten better if the play control were a little better and so if the multi player too.

buy or rent
um, this is sort of hard, I think you should buy this game if you like quake games a lot. Buy it if your a person who likes blood, scarieness and other bad stuff.
