"Better then Bomberman Hero But not as good as B64"

Story line (9/10)
Well I was originally going to give this a 7 but changed my mind. The plot was pretty descent, and bringing back an old character was good. The plot twists and such is what caused me to give this a rating of 9. Why not a 10? Because although the plot was nice, it was still a standard ''collect all these 7 jewels'' game. Just with an extended plot.

Gameplay (7/10)
Its smooth, and nice and although you can't really jump the puzzles you have to do involving bouncing on bombs, although it has gone down since B64 is still very good. However the gameplay is limited as its the same the whole time with out any differences. Walking around and setting bombs. That's all you do. Although that IS what makes the game fun =).

Multi player Options (9/10)
Well lets start off with the basic multi player levels. Theres now 5 versions of multi player and they are all VERY impressive and quite fun to play. They will keep you entertained for awhile, and when your playing with friends just as good as you it makes them even better. Although it takes 4 players to get the complete enjoyment of playing the multi player games.

Then theres the second Quest multi player. Pommy is good for this, although he sucks as a CPU. When someone else plays him its good though because he can help Bomberman in slight ways except in boss battles and generator rooms. Also, the 2nd player has to correspond with the 1st player in order to change into good Pommy's that will make the game more enjoyable for player 2.

Sound (8/10)
Well the sound is great. The soundtracks for Bomberman games have always been spectacular. Although it doesn't quite add up to the enjoyable tunes of Bomberman 64. Those were the good old songs. Although these ones are quite well done as well.

Graphics (8/10)
Finally something that exceeds that of its prequel. The graphics have been smoothed out, and the edges have been sharpened up so its not as easy to see the little pixels on the screen. However they aren't no dream graphics that leave you in shock.

Replayability (7/10)
The Quest game itself only has slight replay value. That is mostly consisting of getting Pommy's different transformations and getting the slightly different endings depending on how many stones you have. The multi players are good and will last for awhile but I don't advise you stop playing them and play another game for a week or you may have no will to come back.

Overall (8/10)
Overall I think Hudson made a good new addition to the bomberman series. It definitely makes up, for Bomberman Hero which I consider to only be a FAIR addition to the Bomberman Series. I mean...you can jump. What kind of bomberman game lets you jump! Heh.
