"Cool!"

When I was younger, I liked to rent games from Randall Video, and my most-played ones were always Mario and MEGA MAN. At that point in time, Mega Man was a moderately succesful TV series, and that's how I first heard of it. Then Randall Video closed, and the N64 was released. It took me THREE YEARS to buy an N64(parents.) I came across this game at blockbuster and thought to myself 'Mega Man! thats a name from the past'. I rented this game and I was not dissapointed. Now, lets stop taking trips down memory lane and read the review.
GAMEPLAY/CONTROLS: The gameplay is okay, the game is an action/RPG of sorts, where you talk to people around town and find out about strange occurances in a nearby area; I'd give Gameplay an 8.
Controls, on the other hand, are a different story. Why do you have to press down-C to talk to someone? Last time I looked at an N64 controller, there was a such thing as an A button. The target system is primitive, the overall walking around part is too frustrating, and the special weapons menu has no logic to it at all. I'd give this category a 4.
Graphics: Everywhere I turn, this game is given a bad rap because of it's horrible graphics, and Im thinking 'what horrible graphics?' Sure, the trees and plants definitely need work, (they look like paper), but the character models are great for an N64 game. I'd give this category a 9
Audio: This game has practicly NO music, except in caves, but this game actually has voice-overs, (very rare for an N64 game)which I enjoyed.7/10
Story:For those of you that haven't played the PS-X game, the story is about Mega Man (duh)and his family and how their airship crash-lands on an island, and there is a legend about a hidden treasure.....(8/10)
Entertaintment: Wow! I love this game I love the battles, I love talking to people, I HATE THE CONTROLS, I love Roll, and the game is totally addictive. I played this for 5 hours in a weekend, (I have a time limit), and I was absorbed into the world of Mega Man Legends. Data, the dancing monkey, is annoying yet funny, and Gramps is annoying yet funny, and Roll is cute yet funny. The Servbots are hilaurios! Tron Bonne sucks!
Buy this game right now! No Questions! Now! Now! Now!
