This is the most different Mortal Kombat you will ever play. Mainly because it is full 3-D. A great new addition to the series.

Graphics: 10/10

The graphics were the best of the Mortal Kombat series up to date. Instead of your character being flat and 2-D in a 2-D environment, your character is full 3-D in a full 3-D environment. The best graphics you have ever seen in a Mortal Kombat game. The character's were done with such detail and the fatalities, oh, the fatalities. They were done so realistically. The best looking fatalities of all the Mortal Kombats. Midway out done their selves on this game.

Control: 9/10

The control was kind of easy to pick up on. Not very hard, the character's had good handling. But the fact that everything was 3-D made it a little hard because a Mortal Kombat game has never been made in full 3-D before. So it may be hard to do some moves and fatalities sometimes, but it wasn't extremely hard. I would say the learning curve is 20 minutes.

Music: 8/10

The music was beautiful. The game features a classic theme or two but that's it. A pretty good soundtrack overall.

Gameplay: 10/10

Beat your opponent to a bloody pulp! That's the basic idea. But Mortal Kombat makes it much more than that. The game features a LOT of new stuff. The fact that each of the character's in the game is capable of pulling out a weapon to use in combat is outstanding. But the weapon can be knocked out of your hand and your opponent can pick it up and hit you with it. When your out of power in the second round, the fatalities will keep you amused for hours to come. Whether your ripping someone's leg off and beating them with it or turning into a giant scorpion and ripping your opponent's head off, the fun will always be there. The game also has all new cinema ending's for each character. So beat the game with each character to see their ending. The game features some of the best action packed, 3-D action you will ever see in a Mortal Kombat game.

Replayability

The game will keep you coming back for more and more. You will not get tired of this game easily. Definitely replayable.

This game is buy worthy material. So when you can, I suggest you buy this game from the nearest video game store.

Overall, this game gets a 9. Bloody action and realistic fatalities leave you drooling for more.
