Hybrid Heaven
Review by Hammerlock316
"I Love this game!!!!!!!"
So, basically, your a guy in an underground tunnel in NYC trying to save the mayor from these goofy lookin' alien things. Sound boring? Yeah Right!
Gameplay-10 This game is fun. You go around beatin' the crap out of aliens to get more moves. Very nice! Also, very nice control, too. You press R to grapple, then A to choose what you want to do, then BAM! Your Alien friend ends up bleedin' on the ground from a piledriver! The game is as hard or as easy as you want it. on hard mode, you basically have the alien grapple you and put you in submission moves
more often. Plus, there harder to counter! If you want to get more moves faster, choose easy mode. The alien guy almost lets you do crap to him! Its like, he's almost frozen! You Just don't want to get too close to him, though.
Story-10 This is by far the best part of the game! Your a New York city Cop in an underground chamber trying to save the mayor (and the world) from destruction! You have to save the world from these people who can bring people back called hybrids. they are all copies of people. You Go through the game with a close range gun, finding items and weapons to help you in battles! When you get in battles you learn moves. When you start out the game, you think you're a guy named Diaz, but you're not. Actually, everybody thinks you're dead! (see the starting movie.) About the middle of the game, you meet some aliens called gargetuans that change you into your real state. Also, the state you were in at the beginning of the game is the final boss.
Audio/Video-10 Another good part of the game. You can see everything clearly, right down to the final hair strand. Also, the sound after a move is superb! The grunts and thuds of the matches are sweet! Kinda reminds me of pro wrestling... Anyways, the music is also the best you can find. No garbled noise, no nothing! This game has better graphics than some dreamcast games and better sound than all!
Relplayability-10 This game has so many moves, items, and features that, its impossible, (for me anyway.) to get enough of this game the first time through. I'd play this game again and again! This game shouldn't have been on N64. It's good enough for dreamcast!!!
I'd defenetly at least rent this game. The sound, the moves the graphics, the story, I'd put this game in a headlock and never let go!
Also, Slater sahould be in a wrestling ring!
