"I had a little bit of fun with this game, but I also have a few complaints"

Okay, I bought this game when it first came out and it cost me like $90 (because of the VRU). The game comes with a VRU, or Voice Recognition Unit. Note: If you DESPISE any little bit of ''kiddiness'' in a video game, you won't like this game. Don't worry, it's not REALLY kiddy. Most Pokemon fans would still like this. Well, on to the review.

Fun Factor: 9/10
It was a quite fun game, but a bit on the kiddy side. It also could have been longer. Still, it is a pretty nice game to play. There are lots of items to collect, and the items appear inside your house. Pikachu also poops on and shocks you. After about 3 hours, you will want to quit and stop for at least a little bit.

Control: 8/10
The VRU saved this portion of my review. The VRU works perfectly, but Pikachu seems to have a bit of a delay before he reacts to your command, and it gets annoying when he goes off and does what he wants. Some of the commands have to be said clearly, and that sucks too. At sometimes it can even be frustrating the way he acts. Like when you find a rare item and he just blows it up.

Sound: 7/10
Sometimes I don't mind the sound, but it's too peaceful. It can get repetitive and annoying at some points though. As for the SFX, they're fine. The sound is okay. At least it's not sketchy.

Replay: 6/10
The replay of this game isn't all that great. Sometimes you go back to it and play for a little bit, then quit again. It's too short. A bit disappointing really. The fishing mini-game improves the replayability a lot, it probably would have gotten a 3 without it. Overall, sucky.

Difficulty: 8/10
Although there was a couple hard spots of the game, most of it is too easy. And, actually, some of those difficult times are because of of Pikachu's delayed reaction time. Some tasks can be hard though. Still could have been harder.

Rent or Buy: I would rent it. You can beat it before you bring it back. Still worthy of a good game, but it's easy, short, and sucks in replay, so you should rent it. The most annoying part of the game is the fact that some parts are kiddy, and that can ruin the true fun of the game. Another note, with the exception of the fishing, the mini-games aren't too hot either. A brief description of the game: Fun, kind of kiddy, short, bad replay, somewhat bad sound, pretty easy. Rent this one.
