Space Station Silicon Valley
Review by Blind Guardian
"The most unique game I have ever played!"
I'm sure that most of you people reading this review have never heard of Space Station: Silicon Valley. Well if you're wondering if you should get this game or not, then I have two words for you, GET IT!!! Space Station: Silicon Valley is like no other game out there!
Story: 8/10
Space Station: Silicon Valley is an adventure platformer for the Nintendo 64. It about a Robot named EVO and a guy named Dan who accidently crash their space ship into an artificial world called silicon valley, when the ship crashed it broke EVO's body and scattered it across the world. so now EVO is just a little computer chip with little legs (he looks like a bug) who has to get in other robotic animals bodies to be able to travel the land to find his body part, while Dan stays and tries to repair the ship.
Graphics: 7/10
Okay the graphics in this game are very blocky and at first they can be kind of hard to get used to, but after awhile you'll probaly get used to them and even like them (I know I do). They kind of give the game a goofy look that makes the game more funny than it already is.
Gameplay: 10/10
Throughout the game you travel the land looking for your body parts, while doing this you can kill other robotic pets and then use their body to help you, because each type of pet has special abilities. Then in each level you have to solve different puzzles or tasks to be able to move on to the next level.
Music: 10/10
The music is really goofy and it goes great with the game. It sounds like elevator music, and another fun thing about it is that in the levels there are speakers on the walls and you can blow them up, which makes the music in that area stop, until you get closer to the next speaker.
Controls: 7/10
The controls aren't great but they aren't really that bad to where it causes you to get very frustrated so they aren't that much of a problem.
Difficulty: varies
In this game certain tasks can be a lot harder to get done than other tasks so the difficulty can range from easy to very hard. But overall, the game isn't all that hard to complete.
Overall: 8/10
Yes this game may not look all that great but it has a very original story and gameplay that is full of lots of wackiness and if you can still find it in stores, you might be able to get it (brand new) for only $10!
