Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

"THPS: Best skateboarding game out there"

THPS 1 a great game. The graphics are pretty good. The music is punk and a little hard core. And I can't stop playing it. It has lots of the top skaters. With each skater you have a different brands of skateboards(i.e. Tony Hawk- Birdhouse, Steamer- Toy machine, Thomas-Zero)
and different decks for each brand.

Most of the levels are really fun but others are a pain in the ass. There are 1 or 2 Tourneys in it where you compete for metals.

Back to what I said in the beginning, The graphics are pretty good. They're not good they're not bad. Blood sprays whenever you fall so it's pretty amusing. Whenever you do a trick you see the board to it too.

Now to the music. I like about 3 or 4 songs on there. It's mostly punk and I'm a metal head so people who like punk will like it more than I do.

And here is the boring part about skaters that you don't want to read and I don't want to type but it I don't type it I won't have 400 words So here it goes. It has about 10-20 skaters all pretty good. Some start off bad but once you go on through out the game you get better decks and you're stats will rise. Each skater has a few ''hidden'' tricks each one is pretty sweet.

Like I said before, each skater has his/her own deck brand.
Every few tapes you get you get a new deck with better stats than the last. They have all or most of the good deck companys like: Toy Machine(my personal favorite),Zero, A-team, BirdHouse, Flip and many more.

The game has a lot of levels. All different from each other so it doesn't get boring. Some are like skateparks others where it is like going down hill and there is a ending to it. In each course (in career mode) you have 2 min. unless you are in free play the you have unlimited time (but in free play you cannot gain new levels or decks).

You can also play Multi- player. In Multi you can play up to four people. There are different games you can do in multi. One is where who ever does the most tricks on different ramps. Another and the most basic is whoever gets the highest score wins the game.

If you buy this game or rent you won't stop playing. They now have Tony Hawk Pro skater 2 and 3. You can get it for almost every system. With how old the game is now you can probably get it for $20 from a store and I got mine for 15 at Block Buster. So All this game Gets 8 out of 10. Be sure to buy or rent it you'll love it.

That’s my review of Tony Hawk Pro skater. As you can see from the title it is the best skateboarding game I have played.
