Forsaken 64
Review by dlv1986
"Two thumbs up, I mean down, I mean up, yeah... thats better..."
Forsaken 64 is an excellent Gem for 1st person shooter fans. Though it's not for everyone, most people would like it's sense of style and originality. Forsaken 64 is definitely good enough to become a Playstation 2, or Gamecube title (I can't stand XBOX).
Gameplay: 9
The gameplay of this game is solid fun, it's like putting Duke Nukem in a little pod ship, making it faster, and adding more weapon and maneuvering capabilities. This game is extremely fun if you're in the mood for blasting some robots... I give Gameplay 9/10, or ''Simply Superb'' rating.
Controls: 10
The controls of Forsaken 64 are nothing more than merely perfect when it comes to Nintendo 64 games. Just like any 1st person shooter it's about the same. Move around and fire, the added capabilities of the ''C'' buttons makes it even better... I give Controls 10/10, or ''Amazingly Perfect'' rating.
Story: 6
Chaos has risen on the planet and this evil race of demonic droid robots wants to take over. Not bad, but a little to general... I give Story 6/10, or ''Significantly Fair'' rating.
Graphics: 10
The graphics are at a perfection to Nintendo 64 games. Once can't get much better than this. The graphics are crisp and Incredibly clear. There is no blurriness effects when you near something either... I give Graphics 10/10, or ''Amazingly Perfect'' rating.
Play Time: 9
The first time I played this game all the way through I clocked it at about 40 hours. Now I can beat it at about 4 but thats only because I've been playing the game for years and I know nearly everything about it... I give Play Time 9/10, or ''Simply Superb'' rating.
Music: 11
The music on this game is incredibly cool and makes you want to stamp your feet while you play. It makes me feel like i'm more powerful when I hear the really cool music. Music really deserves an 11!!! I give Music 11/10, or ''Off the Charts'' rating.
Challenge: 9
This game is extremely challenging the first time someone plays it. After the first few levels you expect the game to be very easy, but then they throw a task at you to protect something from being destroyed that's located at three different areas, and no, you cant be in three areas at once so don't even try... I give Challenge 9/10, or ''Simply Superb'' rating.
Replay Value: 10
I've played this game many times over and just recently put it on the shelves to rest for a few months. This game will have one addicted no matter how many times they have beaten it... I give Replay Value 10/10, or ''Amazingly Perfect'' rating.
Buy...? Rent...?:
This game is a 'Must Buy' for first person shooter fans, but the people who are fans of 'Creativity' might enjoy how it looks...
Overall Rating: 9
I give Forsaken 64 9/10, or ''Simply Superb'' rating.
Conclusion:
This game is something to own. I would'nt be surprised if we'll soon see a sequel on one of the New-Age systems with even better graphics and hopefully a better story!.. Play on, gamers!!!
