"Come Over Here! Or Maybe not..."

Mortal Kombat Trilogy was the first Mortal Kombat game to come out on the Nintendo 64 it was also the first game I got for my Nintendo 64 :). Mortal Kombat is basically the SNES Kombat games carried onto the Nintendo 64 the 64 itself it a good system but there are few producers now who know what to do to make a excellent game on this system. Anyway when I first played Mortal Kombat 3 on the SNES I was pratically hooked I must have spent endless days trying to get brutality perfect all the time but Trilogy was a dissapointment I expected better graphics and gameplay from the terrific fighting game lord that is recognized today by all fighting game fans that my friends is ''Mortal Kombat''.

Graphics 5/10 - The Graphics like I said look out of date games like Mario 64 and Perfect Dark really shine on the Nintendo 64 console but Trilogy looked like a SNES game just strapped on a N64 title. However I must give some credit to the blood it is great gory and gushing everytime you nail the opponent with a blow and brutalitys, fatalities, animalities, and friendship look better then ever but the graphics could still use A TON OF WORK.

Gameplay 6/10- The Gameplay is very confusing especially on the N64 Controller but once you get it right it's pretty easy to remember pretty much your average gameplay for a fighting game b to hit a to throw.

Sound 8/10- This is where Mortal Kombat did a good job on the sound sof groans and hits are very good it will make you think that the person next door was dying! But Liu Kang is VERY annoying with that ''oh'' chinese whacke dout sound that jsut wants to make me get the game and chuck it down the pool.

Value 6/10- It has very little modes but these modes have tons of game time what I mean is the ability to play 1 on 1 takes rally fast but in a 2 on 2, or 3 on 3 take pretty long if you and your friends are experienced players and the diffulculty of champion level got pretty hard for me until I shaped up and trained like mad and totally wiped out everybody. I made a huge mistake however, buying this game for 40 (or was it 50) bucks.

Summary- Mortal Kombat is really a game only for hardcore Kombat fans who like dthe SNES Kombat games but if you ere expecting better graphics and gameplay you my friends will be shocked and ticked off, this game is definitely a rent.
