"Great Game To Cause Mayhem In"

This game is awesome and is very underrated. I played this so much that it is unbelievable. To me, this is one of the best titles on Nintendo 64, but it might not be that good to most people.

The controls are very easy to get used to. The control set up is good and there are a few schemes in case you don't like the first one. All you really have to do is move and shoot but there are different buttons to shoot and a lot of other crap like that.

The gameplay is great and fun as hell. If you like to blow stuff up, you will definitely like the gameplay. You basically just shoot, run, shoot, run, but it is still sweet.

There are many pick ups you can get throughout the game that will upgrade what you are capable of shooting. One of the many pickups is heat seeking rockets. These are fun except when they go in the walls. This will happen quite a lot and sometimes the game will glitch up to where your weapons are automatically drained or something (or at least mine did). One of my favorite pick ups is the mini tank. You can put it down and it will shoot anything that comes near it except for you. This is awesome in multiplayer.

The multiplayer is the best quality of the game. You play in split screen and can go head to head or can join forces with each other and beat the crap out of other tanks. Me and my friends had a blast with this.

The single player isn't as good as the multiplayer, but it is still good. The story mode is mission based and usually involves you blowing up a certain number of rival tanks or blowing up a certain object. The missions can get boring but the multiplayer is there to back it up. There is also another mode where you can just battle other tanks in different levels. That is fun too.

The actual tanks are sweet. There are a few different ones to choose from and some have different capabilities that others do not.

The graphics aren't that great and can glitch up sometimes. The tanks look ok and the levels look ok. The level desig isn't too great because there isn't that much variety to it. The sound is good though.

I would definitely buy this title if you are looking for a good multiplayer game. If you are looking for single player, you might get bored of this game after a bit so I would rent it first.
