"My favorite football game"

THIS GAME JUST PLAIN FRIKKIN ROCKS! All the fun of football, without all the restrictions of the rules! Though the rosters were not up-to-date, even for the time, it didn't matter because it was too much fun!! I loved hitting the other team after the play, makin' sure they don't catch the pass by hitting them while the ball is in the air, and jumping 8 feet off the ground to get a pick! One of the only downfalls of the game is that it takes up all 123 blocks on your memory card! The other thing I don’t like about it is that the announcer really annoys me all the time. I wish the new Blitz games were still this good, which sadly, they’re not.

Gameplay-WOW! This game delivers so much freaking fun. This is probably my favorite football game ever. I played this game for so long, and even beat all 31 teams while playing in ARCADE mode, which isn’t the hardest task, but still it’s fun to do. Me and my friend played this game endlessly against each other and also on the same team. If I could just play 1 game for the rest of my life, which better never happen, it would probably be this one. My favorite moment, though, was when my friend who I told you about and my little brother were playing on the same team. There were just a few seconds to go, and they were losing by 1, 49 to 48. They called me in to kick a field goal for them. I sucked at field goals, but I decided to do it anyway. Well, I MADE IT, and they WON! That is MY FAVORITE MOMENT in any video game! 10/10

Graphics- The graphics on this game are above average, but not much more. While the stadiums and field look great, the players are blocky, though this does fit the Blitz games. The colors are vibrant, and the ball looks cool when someone’s on fire, which helps the game a whole bunch, but still I must complain about the blocky player figures. Overall, though, they fit Blitz, so they get 7/10.

Sound- The worst part of the game, but that doesn’t mean it’s horrible. The field sounds are pretty good, but the announcing gets really annoying. Even if you turn the announcing off, the field sounds start getting old after a while. The only time I like the announcing is when I score a game-winning TD and the announcer says, “He could go all the way, TOUCHDOWN! The 49ers win the game!” After reading that quote, I’m sure you can guess my team is San Fran. For this one, better put on Metallica and kick some bootay. 6/10

Control- Nearly perfect controls. The best part of the controls is only having to use one hand for the turbo and the player control, and being able to use the other one to jump, tackle, switch players, or stiff arm. I can’t say a lot when there’s nothing bad to say, so it gets 10/10.
