Road Rash 64

Let me start off by saying that this game, no matter how uptight a person is, this game will squeeze some enjoyment out of anyone. I've only played one other Road Rash game, and it was for Sega, it was ok. When I saw this over my friend's house, I thought I'd give it a try, and man we played that game for hours. I've laughed so hard at some of the crashes we did that I kept getting tears in my eyes, good memories are to be had by anyone considering getting this game.

Graphics 8/10
While graphics shouldn't really matter, good graphics sure don't hurt, this game looks pretty real, about as real as the N64 can make it look. I doubt you'll be let down by this game's look. It looks a little cartoony, but you'll forget about it soon enough, this game is just another good example of why PS2 graphics aren't vital for a good game.

Fun Factor 10/10
Oooh man, this game is so much fun it's sickening. It doesn't take too long to beat it, and while you're playing it I assure you you'll laugh a good 30 times. The things you can to the opponents are wild.

Replay Value 8/10
Going back through the levels is just as fun as the first time, and the crashes make this game easy to want to play again. Who can resist beating down an annoying cop? I can't, and I haven't found anyone that can. The multiplayer is sweet, going head to head with a friend while speeding around on a motorcycle and hitting each other with weapons, needless to say, is fun. You can also keep winning money, and getting new bikes, some of the bikes in that game are killer, so it gives you something to work for, gotta love that in a game.

Rent or Buy
Well, this depends heavily on whether or not you are a fan of Road Rash, if you've played and liked any other versions of the game, I'm positive you'll like this one. If you don't believe me, then rent it, but you'll be broken hearted when you have to return it, so you might as well save some time and buy it. With N64 games getting cheaper and cheaper and this game not really being that popular, it shouldn't be anymore than 25$, pretty cheap, and well worth it.
