Review by BlackhawkX

"Incredible storyline and gameplay are just 2 of the things this game has to offer."

I never really was a fan of N64 games, until I played Winback. This game is just plain fun, and I still find myself dusting off my N64 today to play this. I know it's on PS2, but it's just not the same. I know what your thinking. ''What makes this game different from Metal Gear Solid and Syphon Filter? What Makes it so great?''
Well, this game is like, MGS and SF, but what makes it great? Read on.

Difficulty: 9/10
No matter what difficulty you play this game on, it's still hard. You might be shooting terrorists, and be avoiding moving laser traps at the same time, or running from the bullets of a .50 caliber machine gun with terrorist on your back while desperately trying to find cover. Not all of the game is like this, though(thank God). There are some easy parts, but only a few.

Sound: 7/10
Basic N64 graphics. That's it.

Gameplay: 10/10
Out of the 15 buttons on your N64 controller you will use about 13 of them. You can roll, duck, shoot around corners and such just like MGS. The controls are a little clunky, but you get used to them very quickly. You can shoot crates, blow up walls(only once, though), even take control of .50 caliber machine guns. Different damage values depending on where you shoot an enemy. All this and more make an incredible experience.

Graphics: 9/10
Pretty good N64 graphics. Everything can be clearly seen, even in dark areas. The detail in the surrounding environment is pretty goo too.

Storyline: 10/10
One of the best storylines ever can be found in this game. Terrorists have taken over a satellite that is capable of firing a super-charged laser at any target in the world with pin-point accuracy. Their first target was the US Government's Space Research Center. As a Member of the Elite Military Unit ''SCAT'', your and your team's job is to infiltrate the enemy base and stop the weapon before it recharges and fires again.

Replay Value- Moderate
There are a few bonus modes for you to play(Such as ''Sudden Death mode) that make the game worth an extra run through, along with 3 different endings based on your time.

Buy or Rent- BUY
This game is a keeper. It has a cool Multiplayer game, and like I said before, multiple modes to play the game through, that make the game worth the buy.

Overall: 10/10
That's right. 10/10. As close to perfect as you can get. Once the game gets you, there is no turning back. Don't believe me? Look at me than. I'm still playing it.
