"Fun and innovative"

This game is alot different than most fighting games. It's almost wrestling, and almost traditional fighting. On the wrestling side there are lots of holds, throws, grabs, and reversals. As for fighting it's got combos, juggles, and other fighting stuff. It is a semi-realistic game like Tekken. There are no fireballs, or lasers. Just good ol fashioned crap beatins!!


The graphics are a bit lacking. The back grounds are flat and kinda fuzzy, and the characters are blocky. There isn't any slow down though. Well there is but I think it is intentional. IT's after you hit them reeaaallly hard, or do a special. In which case that round is over, which brings us to the next part.


You gotta love the point system. Instead of it being a first person to win 2 matches, it's the first person to seven points. Knock you opponent off the edge of the arena you get 1 point, use are super strong attack to knock them down or just beat them up till they run out of energy gets 3 points, beat them to within an inch of their life and then use a special attack gets 4 points, succesfully throw them to get 3 points, use a counter attack at the right time for 3 points. it works out very well.

And the extra modes are great. In challenge you only have to get 1 point to win, if you beat 1 hundred people with out having a single point scored on you you get to use Joker. In rodeo if you can stay in the ring with a uber-powerful cow for more than a minute you can use him in battle. It's alot harder than it sounds. And in master mode you compete against the all knowing master in order to learn new moves. Or fight the nearly impossible joker if you lose you'll lose all the moves you've learned. It's a really fun game I recomend you at least rent it.
