"Very misunderstood game"

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero is a game created by the same people who did the other games, but it is very different. There are no kombats against the other characters like Lui Kang and Kano, instead, you play an RPG-like quest through 8 different levels, trying to get to the end and face the boss. Here's my run down:

-Story: 8/10
You are Sub-Zero. You work for the Lin Kuei and are the best there is. Some bald guy comes and asks the Lin Kuei to help him get a map of the Elements: Wind, Fire, Earth, and Water. You undertake the mission only to realize the Bald guy has sinister plans, which you then must correct your wrong doings. Along the way you will need to use Kung Fu and your freeze powers against Monks and other enemies. Over all, it's original and will keep you occupied for awhile.

-Control: 6/10
The control is difficult to do at first. This is why I think most people do not like this game. The 4 C buttons represent you kicks and punches, which is easy to do after some practice, but in order to turn around, you have to press B, you can't just press the opposite way on the pad/stick. People seem to hate that, but it really is easy to get used to after awhile. A button represents grabbing. You use this action to get the herbs and other things floating around. Like I said, you may find it difficult to get used to at first, but with a little practice, it becomes easier.

-Graphics: 7/10
The graphics really aren't that bad. They are pretty good for the N64, though the picture can tend to get a bit dark. Over all, the N64 does it part graphics wise.

-Challenge: 10/10
This game is definitely a challenge. With seemingly hundreds of ways to die, and massive creatures 10 times your size, you may wonder how this game can be beaten. It can be. I've beaten it on Very Hard, and though new comers will have no chance at that, once you get used to how everything works and are able to play through the whole game on easy, you can eventually move up into the hard settings.

-Overall: I give this game an 8/10. Most people may disagree and say it is a 1 or 2, but you be the jury yourself. I suggest you rent this game if you have a place nearby that still rents out N64 games. It's challenging, the fighting is fun, and you have a complete arsenal of freeze abilities to use. This game is very misunderstood I believe, and to those who are actually good at it and understand how to play it, I think you would agree.
