Review by Rat Guy

"Hey, look! I'm Earthworm Jim!"

....And I suck! This has to be one of the worst games ever, with the exception of any Tomb Raider game, of course. This game has a long history as being a decent game...but it should have stopped before this. To put it politely, it sucks. Now, on with the review.

Gameplay
Just like any Earthworm Jim game, the gameplay is descent. However, it's kinda hard. At some places, it is easy to get stuck and lost for hours on end...this happened to me...but for the most part the gameplay is solid and the storyline is descent.

7/10

Story
Now, this is like your typical action game...you go around collecting things and powerups to obtain your goal. Nothing big...But this game's downfall is just that. Sure, you go and collect items and stuff, but that's all. Yeah, you get the typical bonus level, but it's just the same as all of the other ones.

2/10

Graphics/Sound
Okay, so you buy this game on N64 and you think it sucks...that;s because of the crummy graphics. These graphics are all blocky and choppy, and to tell the truth, not even worth looking at. I played it and I had to wear eye patches for nearly a year. But, wait, there's more. The sound also sucks. It sounds like a direct copy over of the sound effects and music from the last game...now that I think of it, it probably is.

Play Time/Replayability
Okay, first off, if you're not the type that sees hidden aspects of the game and parts that one wouldn't normally see, then you have just wasted money. It takes forever to beat this game, especially if you are that type. Now, other people, that are good at figuring out stuff might be able to do it in slightly less time. But probably not. And don't get me started on the replayability. Okay, it is just like any other action game. You can play it a couple of times, and every time, it gets increasingly dull and boring. So, what are you going to do?

3/10

Go rent it! That is, if you can find a place that still rents and N64 games. And if there isn't, borrow it, or even trade in a sucky game that you don't like and get it. It can't be more than $3. So, that's it. You've heard my opinion, and that is to not waste your time with it. I give this game a not so grand total of 3/10.
