"Arcade Game And Nothing Else"

This game went to the arcades before it hit home consoles (namely Nintendo 64.) This game used to be the bomb in the arcade but it seems that they didn't capture all of the Nintendo 64's potential. Even the intro is ugly which is supposed to be the pinical of any game's production. This game is ugly in alot of ways. This game is just bad and here's how. Be forewarned that I used to like this game and have played this recently and here is the review that I summed up.

Story: Story! I don't see any story around here! Basically all you do is drive through the United States.

Gameplay: The gameplay is poor. You hold down the Z button to accelerate and you have to move your hand all the way over to the B button to brake. The AI is way too smart it seems like they never run into a car. And there's always traffic even when you ''turn'' it off. The gameplay is hendered due to this.

Graphics: The graphics are okay but it doesn't rise up from an average Nintendo 64 game. The graphics could've been much better. I mean it looks kinda like an upgraded Super Nintendo Entertainment System game. Nah I take that back. I've seen some games on the SNES that look more better than this. And that's that. Oh and one more thing. The cars and backgrounds look awful. Sure they look like they could be on the Nintendo 64 but when you think about it it's just too blurry. The cars are the same way. I mean the cop car lights don't even look right and some of the cars don't look like cars but paper actually. That's that the graphics are bad.

Sound: Argh! I hate almost everything about the sound. The music is mediocre and the cars sound way too cheap. The lady in the one song that just says ''OOh Ahh Ohh Ahh Ahh Ahh Ohh'' over and over gets real annoying. I do like the way the car sounds when you're inside a tunnel but other than that I hate the sound!

Replay Value: This game has no replay value. If you want to unlock all the cars then you might as well just drive through all the courses again because that's basically all you have to do. By the time you get the first set of cars you will be bored out of your mind to go get the rest of the cars. That's how dull this game is. End of story.

Final Verdict: Avoid. that's summed up in one good word. Alas this game used to be good but now it's just too boring to play anymore.
